Khadija El Aadmi and Patricia Santos took part in the “Human-Centered Learning Analytics and AI in Education” workshop, which aims to explore new horizons in research, design, and development practices that enhance educational systems. This event seeks to align educational technologies with pedagogical intentions, preferences, needs, and values, ensuring the development of responsible, inclusive, value-sensitive, and sustainable data-powered solutions.

The workshop fosters discussions on alternative frameworks and broader implications of technology for humanity, striving to improve educational experiences while respecting the agency and well-being of educators and learners, as well as social bonds and the environment.

Khadija El Aadmi presented her accepted paper titled “The Integration of Student Well-being Following a HCLA Approach: Challenges and Recommendations.” This research was co-authored with Patricia Santos and Davinia Hernandez-Leo. The paper explores the challenges and recommendations in integrating student well-being within a Human-Centered Learning Analytics (HCLA) framework.
